DESCRIPTION:MOVIES and COWBOYS\nWarner Brothers Studio & the Autry Museum of the American West\n\nSaturday\, February 3: 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM- $159/154* \n \n\nThis tour combines the LA area’s best studio tour with a wonderful museum dedicated to telling the stories and history of the American West. We’ll spend the morning enjoying a 2.5 hour tour of Warner Brothers Studios\, seeing sound stages\, movie and TV sets\, prop rooms\, and interactive exhibits. The tour guides are wonderful\, and we’ll be whisked all over the massive studio on open-air carts. We’ll explore back lots\, the Batcave\, DC Universe\, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter\, Game of Thrones exhibit\, and the set of the Big Bang Theory. Since February is close to Oscars Season\, the studio will likely have costumes from the hit movie – Barbie! For lunch we’ll enjoy an included picnic adjacent to the Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park. At the museum\, you’ll enjoy 2 hours to explore the many exhibits including Art of the American West\, Cowboy Gallery\, and California Road Trip. The museum also documents the history of the native peoples of California including the forthcoming exhibition – Reclaiming El Camino: Native Resistance in the Missions and Beyond.\n  \n\n\n\n* This is a pricier tour than normal. Studio tours are rather expensive\, but offer a rare chance to see firsthand how movie magic is made. Having been on the tour several times\, I highly recommend it.
